Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 - 9 Reasons Why the Multiplayer Sucks

black ops 2

The past several iterations of Call of Duty I’ve enjoyed the single player game immensely. I’ve played every one of them start to finish but I never engaged in the multiplayer at all. I never thought it looked all that appealing. Truthfully this time around didn’t feel all that much different but a few friends expressed interest in jumping in game, I had the money to drop on it, and I thought to myself, “It’s popular for a reason, right?” Dropped a hard earned $60 on the game and fired it up.

It pretty much fired right back. After a handful of initial newbie laughs and confusion I quickly became very frustrated with the game. Frustration turned to regret as I began taking a mental inventory of all the nice things I could've bought instead. After a suitable handful of hours in the multiplayer I have decided the following: I hate this game. Here’s 9 reasons why.

GTA:V Trailer #2 Drops

It's hard not to be in awe at how far the GTA series has come.   Every iteration of the franchise really breaks down new barriers in terms of graphics and technology and GTA:V seems to be no different.  Personally I felt GTA:IV was a bit of a step back in terms of gameplay and I felt the graphical detail nudged its way into paramount priority.  The environment was beautiful but it just wasn't as engaging as San Andreas and Vice City was.  Truthfully, I haven't made it all the way through a GTA series game in a long time.  Maybe I'm about due for a rekindled interest?  Either way, this game looks stellar.

Deus Ex Human Revolution

Deus Ex

I glazed over my experiences with this game's pre-release leak a while back and I reserved a complete article on the game until the full game has been released and I'm very glad I did.  Not because the leaked beta had elements that were unrefined but so I had a complete scope of the game.  Even with many hours and sleepless nights poured into Deus Ex I would need a virtual hubble telescope to fully appreciate the aforementioned "scope" of this game.  If you read this article no further and only take one thing from this introduction let it be this: go out, get this game, and shutter your windows and doors until you've played it.

Put the I in Team

We've been conditioned from our youth the concept of team spirit, sharing, and playing well with others.  Some of us have anyway.  I'm sure 99% of you have also heard the saying, "It's not about winning, it's about having fun" which blatantly ignores the fact that winning is fun.  Now I understand the idea behind the statement however it really only serves to lessen the blow of a loss if wins aren't consistent.    A lot of people online have come to understand this already and play every game like it's all about them.
